The same iconic ring lizard texture at a smarter entry price. Grade 2 natural unbleached Varanus salvator with the same semi-gloss finish and tannery-direct sourcing as our Grade 1, with minor natural variation in scale uniformity or tone that rarely shows in finished goods.

What Grade 2/3 means. These skins carry minor natural character — small healed scars, slight scale irregularities or tonal variation, usually toward the flanks. Usable surface is typically 85–90%. The species, tanning, finish and CITES documentation are identical to our Grade 1; you simply cut around the marks. Ideal for wallets, straps, footwear and panelled bags at a 20–30% lower price.

Which cut do I need?

Front cut gives a uniform belly-scale panel, ideal for watch straps, wallets and card holders. Back cut shows the natural ombré centre pattern, preferred for feature panels on small bags and footwear. Ring lizard skins are small — plan on 1 skin for a strap or bifold wallet, 2–4 skins for a clutch or small bag.
