How long can reticulated pythons grow? What length(s) do you offer?
The reticulated python is the world’s longest snake, with some specimens reaching up to 7.67 meters. However, most commercially available skins measure about 3.25 meters in length. Our tannery offers finished Python in the 3.2-3.5 meter length range. Please note the dimensions listed on our website are referring to the WIDTH, not the length which is ubiquitous across all offered width ranges.

What is the width of a typical reticulated python skin?
The average width at the widest point is about 28 cm (11 inches) and tapers to around 15 cm (5.9 inches) at the ends. Our tannery offers Python in various sizes for widths, which you may select from the dropdown menu.

How does a diamond python’s hide compare to a Burmese python’s?
Diamond python hides taper more severely than Burmese pythons, leading to a smaller square footage. As a result, diamond python hides are often less expensive per meter.
