Being the least bony, the Alligator is again the choice to aim for when considering this attribute of the Crocodilian family. Again, this stands to reinforce its status as the King/Queen of its Family.

Using exotic leathers is a great way to make your high-fashion footwear products stand out and crocodilian hides are no exception - the creme de la creme, no matter the occasion. All it comes down to is making the best decision for your goals, and for the end consumers' - when dealing with high-end cliente, for example, it may not reflect well to select Caiman when Alligator is readily available despite its price point. After all you get what you pay for, and when servicing clients, crafters and manufacturers should no doubt keep this sentiment in mind. With proper care there is no reason why such an exotic hide, and its end product, cannot remain beautiful for perpetuity!
